How to use the Word Finder
- Enter the letters you have in the main search box. Use
?for any unknown letter. - Filter the results with one or more of:
- Starts with — only words beginning with the letters you type.
- Ends with — only words finishing with those letters (great for rhymes).
- Contains — only words that include a specific letter group anywhere.
- Click Find to see every matching word grouped by length.
- Combine filters for crossword puzzles — e.g. Starts with "PR" + Ends with "T" narrows the list dramatically.
When to use the Word Finder
- Crossword clues where you know the length and a few letters.
- Wordle-style games — narrow guesses by known and excluded letters.
- Writing & poetry — find rhymes, alliterations, or themed vocabulary.
- Spelling Bee puzzles where every word must contain a center letter.
